The Minotaur has laid down his sword.
Once feared as the Minotaur, Asterius now runs a tavern by the sea. His former Order wants its greatest warrior back.
When the knights sent to reclaim him fail, the youngest stays behind to ask why he left. Asterius answers with the story of a life spent as a weapon, and of the woman who first asked him what he wanted for himself.
After love and loss, he chooses cooking, travellers’ stories and an ordinary life in the sun.
